Đau lưng có nhiều dạng đau lưng như đau lưng trên, đau lưng giữa và đau lưng dưới.Tuỳ vào các loại đau lưng mà chúng ta có những phương pháp điều trị và phòng ngừa khác nhau để đem lại hiệu quả cao nhất.Đối với đau lưng trên thường xuất hiện ở những người lao lực khi còn trẻ, khi về già họ sẽ cảm thấy đau âm ỷ vùng lưng trên, kèm theo tức ngực, ho,… Với cơn đau này khiến họ khó cử động những động tác như cúi người, bưng bê các đồ nặng và mất đi tính linh hoạt trong di chuyển.
Đối với những người bị đau lưng giữa thường là những người làm việc trong văn phòng, ngồi lâu khiến các đốt sống vùng thắt lưng bị sơ cứng. Ngoài ra, một số ý người mắc phải chứng đau lưng giữa do bị viêm loét dạ dày Các cơn đau thường tăng lên khi ngồi, nằm đứng yên một vị trí. Cơn đau có khi âm ỷ, có khi đau dữ dội theo từng cơn.
