Giấc ngủ, ăn uống, vận động… là những nhu cầu thiết yếu không thể thiếu được đối với con người. Thiếu ngủ, con người sẽ suy kiệt sức lực, hao mòn thân thể, nhanh già, sinh bệnh tật, làm cho làn da nhăn, khô và sạm…

Từ xưa đến nay, các chuyên gia hàng đầu về sức khỏe bao giờ cũng khuyên con người phải ăn, ngủ và làm việc điều độ, hợp lý.

Một số công trình nghiên cứu khoa học cho thấy, khi con người ngủ, huyết quản dưới da nở ra, vì thế có tác dụng bổ sung dinh dưỡng và ôxy cho làn da, đồng thời loại bỏ bài tiết các chất có hại trong cơ thể ra ngoài.

Khi ngủ, các hormon sinh trưởng trong người được tiết ra nhiều hơn nên có tác dụng thúc đẩy sự sinh trưởng, tái tạo làn da, giữ cho da được mịn màng.

Khi thiếu ngủ, cơ thể sẽ tăng hàm lượng chất kích thích cortisol trong máu, hormon này đã làm tăng hoạt tính của một enzime để tích mỡ.
Chính vì vậy, trong một số trường hợp, thiếu ngủ cũng sẽ làm cơ thể tăng cân. Thiếu ngủ cũng là một trong những nguyên nhân làm cho trẻ em chậm phát triển, thiếu minh mẫm và khả năng tiếp thu kém.

Giấc ngủ ngon sẽ làm tiêu hao sự mệt mỏi, khôi phục lại sức lực đã tiêu hao, giữ cho thần kinh được cân bằng, bảo vệ não, chính vì thế giữ cho con người tính tình ôn hòa, cởi mở, có tác dụng khôi phục và tăng cường trí nhớ, vì thế nâng cao hiệu suất công việc.

Đặc biệt, những người thường xuyên phải lao động trí óc căng thẳng cần được ngủ đủ giấc.

Nếu thiếu ngủ kéo dài sẽ dẫn đến rối loạn thần kinh, dễ cau có, nổi nóng, suy nhược hệ tuần hoàn não và có thể sinh ra nhiều chứng bệnh khác.

Thiếu ngủ còn ảnh hưởng đến nồng độ các hormon tuyến giáp trong máu, có thể dẫn đến nguy cơ cao huyết áp.

Công trình nghiên cứu của các nhà khoa học Mỹ và Nhật Bản đã chứng minh, khi chúng ta ngủ, cơ thể tiết ra những hormon cần thiết có tác dụng tăng cường hệ miễn dịch, từ đó có tác dụng chống lại sự xâm nhập của các vi khuẩn, virut gây bệnh.

Bên cạnh đó, giấc ngủ cũng góp phần làm chậm sự già yếu và kéo dài tuổi thọ, xuân sắc cho con người.

Thông thường, chất lượng của giấc ngủ được thể hiện rõ nhất sau khi bạn tỉnh giấc. Nếu sau khi thức giấc, bạn cảm thấy tinh thần thoải mái, dễ chịu, đầu óc tỉnh táo, minh mẫn và làm việc có hiệu quả thì bạn đã có một giấc ngủ ngon lành.

Người lớn mỗi ngày cần ngủ từ 7-8 tiếng, nhưng trẻ em cần phải ngủ nhiều hơn (tùy theo từng độ tuổi mà trẻ em mỗi ngày có thể ngủ từ 9-10 tiếng, hoặc nhiều hơn).

Tuy nhiên, bạn cần chú ý đến chất lượng của giấc ngủ. Các yếu tố như tiếng ồn, không khí, ánh sáng, lối sống, chế độ ăn uống, chiếc Nệm bạn đang sử dụng cũng ảnh hưởng không nhỏ đến giấc ngủ…

Đều ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng giấc ngủ. Vì thế, muốn có một giấc ngủ ngon và sâu mọi người phải chú ý đến những yếu tố này.
